Okay, I get it, when you have money, you will spend it here and there. But would you really drop $4.2 million on a painting? That's what Jay Z did, according to EURweb. At first, an anonymous person bought the 1982 Jean-Michel Basquiat painting called "Mecca" last week and come to find out it was Jay. But Jay may have some ties with the graffiti artist because Jay included the artist's name in his songs. Even on “Magna Carta Holy Grail,” Jay Z references the artist “Picasso Baby,’’ Jay Z gives a nod to Basquiat by rapping, “It ain’t hard to tell, I’m the new Jean-Michel.” But for real, $4.2 milly?
